Pratham Shikshan Mandal is a (NGO) trust registered with Charity Commissioner. Since 2004, It is working in the field of education, mainly working for school going as well as the children who left the school without completing the secondary education. PSM get s financial support from other agencies, companies such as Tata Power Company Ltd., BILT etc. PSM provide various educational Programmes to suit the needs of the situation. Every school going child should get quality education for this parents and teacher should be aware about quality education.
PSM trains volunteers who spread awareness about quality education and english language for urban children. It provides library facilities to enhance their knowledge by reading different kinds of books. For secondary school dropped out girls and women PSM took a step toward to able to complete their 10th & 12th standard education externally. To know more about us, check out our About us page.
Pratham Shikshan Mandal , Pune provide mainly these girls and women are dropped out between 5th and 9th standard, with poor family background and backward class. This also includes widows, separated women, women due to early marriage could not complete education, women’s due to responsibility of siblings could not complete education.

PSM has plan to conduct this open school program for 10th standard student for next 3 years. For this purpose survey was carried out and 1277 girls and women have been identified out of which 470 are keen to participate in this program. PSM will guide them and conduct coaching in classrooms and prepare them to appear for SSC examination externally by applying through form no. 17 of Maharashtra State Secondary Education Board.
